About – Research – CV – Contact

Since November 2020, I have been a Research Fellow at London Business School. I completed my PhD in Economics in 2021 at Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University.
In the fall of 2022, I’ll join the University of Namur as a Postdoctoral Researcher.
My research interests are in economic history, development economics, and culture. Specifically, I am interested in the origins and consequences of different institutions, including property rights, trust, beliefs, and the legacies of different forms of colonialism.
I do empirical work. My ongoing development economics and economic history projects use current and archival data from sub-Saharan Africa. My projects on cultures use ethnographic and global survey data.
